Sara "Saraelle" Lauth is an Artist and Art Educator born and raised in New York.  She currently resides in New York City and teaches elementary art for a Charter Network in Harlem.  She graduated from Adelphi University with a BFA in Fine Arts and from School of Visual Arts with a MAT in Art Education. 

 

Since 2004, Saraelle has created an eclectic and dynamic body of work focusing on the duality and abstruseness of the human experience.  She aims to evoke both subtle and intense emotional responses to her work through the use of line, pattern, texture, color and composition.  Her artworks are as much examinations of the soul and an outlet for personal disharmony as they are explorations of the creative mediums at hand.

The onset of 2020 has unleashed new challenges for all educators and creatives.  In the wake of a global pandemic, society has been compelled into methods of remote and virtual communication.  Saraelle has used this time to expand her creative process into the world of digital art.
